Confession of a doodler |WWW – When, Why, What – The most common themes of mine |

“Sometimes, I think, that I draw like a robot.
“Why do I feel this way?”
” I often draw the same pattern, or figure.”
“When do I do this?”
“There are special circumstances and situations, which make me doing this. For example literature class, I always draw horses and peoples together then.”
“That could be boring, couldn’t it?”
“Could. Yeah, this is the key word.  I think it could… or should, that is the better term. But It is not boring,  I do not feel this,  never, I know I should, but I just can’t. Crazy right?”
“Just strange, but I’m sure, there have to be somewhere a logical explanation.  Until then tell me something about which situations bring up these habitude, and what are those repeated patterns which I draw in that case.”
“Let me think a minute…”

If I had voices in my head, this would be a real and possible conversation. Now I think I am very lucky that there is no schizophrenic inside me. If this happen someday,  I’ll become mad, soon. This post is not about my mental future so, here are the what & when answer:

Literature class: Horses and people, mostly they appear together. (I think, I do this because I do not understand the poetry like teacher e.g. she teach that a boat witch catch fire in a poem means love. In my opinion that is a viking’s funeral. Maybe I draw horses (that figure which I can do the best) me comfortable while the different opinion of the teacher and mine makes me feel unsure in things.)

Singing class:  Floral patterns, or some geometrical pattern. The music the slow the dynamic, the loud, and the calm, the soft, the hard, the nice, the dissonant and all of these give you an impression, you just have to follow that.

History class: Flowers, clothes, furnitures. I have no idea why I draw furnitures, the throne is the only one which I can understand, but the modern dining table makes no sense…

Foggy window on the bus:  Windmills & trees.  I love the glass’s wet feeling under my fingertips, and the result looks mysterious. Really, you just have to try it :D.

Sunny days:  Night in the forest. Dark colouration.
These are the most common things I sketch somewhere. If I remember more, I’ll let you know.

“This is interesting.”
“I’m scared.”
“Why am I?”
“What if I loose all of my other free moments too , and I’ll have to draw the same things? I won’t be able to draw anything new.”
